I am sorry but I have to wonder why these people (The Wild Reed) and (Reformed Catholic) profess to be Catholics when they hold such CONTEMPT for the true teachings of the Church regarding, to name a few, birth control, homosexuals, homosexual marriage etc.
It really makes me ill to see such contempt coming from so called Catholics. I guess I just have to remember ” And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. “
I’ve visited both their blogs, and they definitely subscribe to heresy under the name of reform. Of course, we all know that the Church doesn’t change. But I know some Protestant denominations that would be willing to accommodate their beliefs…
That is right, let me emphasis it again, THE CHURCH DOES NOT CHANGE!
I agree, there is a lovely church down the street, a Protestant one,that would welcome them with open arms…
By the way, did you notice that one of those “yokels” got a Bloggers Choice Award for best Religion Blog?

Karin, it’s just a nomination, not an award. people can go nominate themselves, and get a graphic to embed in their blog. Whew! I’m relieved that a heretical blog couldn’t really win “Best Religion Blog.”

Like I commented before, I find it amazing people so intellectually dishonest can sleep at night.I was listening to a talk by John Martignoni where he talks about cafeteria catholics. He turns to parts in the Catechism like contraception, homosexuality, etc. and rips them right out of the book, (you can hear it on the audio) Which is essentially what they do.It worked wonders for dramatic effect.
